1. Who We Are
Amuvara ("we", "us") is operated by 佛山市南海索里贸易商行 (an individual commercial enterprise / sole proprietorship), 73 Dongxing Street, Qidong Village, Dali Town, Nanhai District, Foshan, Guangdong, China (佛山市南海区大沥镇黄岐岐东村东兴街73号). We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this store. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.
2. Information We Collect
Account information — when you register or place an order we collect your email address, and if you provide them, your name, shipping address and phone number.
Order information — the products you buy, order history and payment confirmation. Payment card details are processed by our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.
Communication — emails or messages you send us, including newsletter subscriptions and wholesale inquiries.
Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site secure and working properly.
3. How We Use Your Information
To process and deliver your orders, handle returns and provide customer support.
To operate your account, including order history and saved addresses.
To send service emails such as order confirmations and shipping updates.
To send marketing emails (new arrivals, horoscopes, offers) if you subscribed — every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
To improve the Site, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal Bases (for EU/UK Visitors)
Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we process your data on these bases: performance of a contract (orders and accounts), legitimate interests (Site security and improvement), consent (marketing emails and non-essential cookies), and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).
5. Sharing Your Information
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the store: payment processing, shipping carriers, email delivery and website hosting. These providers process data on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our customers.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
6. International Transfers
Our service providers may process data outside your country, including outside the EU/UK. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
7. Retention
We keep order records for as long as required by tax and accounting law, account data while your account is active, and marketing data until you unsubscribe. When data is no longer needed we delete or anonymize it.
8. Your Rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; receive a copy of your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@amuvara.com. EU/UK residents also have the right to complain to their local data protection authority.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep the Site functioning (cart, sign-in session) and analytics cookies to understand how the Site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may affect checkout and sign-in.
10. Security
We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, access controls and vendor due diligence — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data protected.
11. Children
Our Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes & Contact
We may update this policy from time to time; the version on this page is the current one. Material changes will be announced by email or a notice on the Site.
